A. W. Rich, a resident of Murray coun
ty, wan arrested Monday night at the
home of hie sister-in-law. Mrs. Lillie

The arrest was mad* by Policeman
Arm wood and Special Officer McIntyre,
of the Western and Atlantic railroad.
Rich was taken hack to Murray county
Tuesday morning by Officer McIntyre.

Central of Georgia railway at the Ma
con Junction, by which trains will be
signalled attd switched from on* track
to another automatically. The system
will be controlled by the operator, who
Is posted In it tower commanding nil
the tracks.
By working a system of levers, he sig
nals the various trains and switches
each one to Its proper track without
ever leaving the tower.
