purchase of 200,440,444 feet of timber,
between Waycrose and Live Oak. Fla.,
the price being <2 per thousand fast,
and the total transaction Ineolvltfg
2440,400.
Th* timber was sold by W. W.
Sharpe, Warren Lett, W. B. Ellington,
W. A. Price, George W. Oaea. J. S.
Bailey and O. Q. Parker, all of thla
city, to the Ensign Manufacturing
Company, whose principal office* nr*
tn Jacksonville.
Th* Ensign Company Intends to con
struct tn Waycroa* one of th* largest
saw-mills In the South, to utilise the
timber purchased yesterday, .and also
to cut up large bodies of timber they
already owned south of th* city. A
railroad will alto be conatroctad from
Waycroaa to a point near Live Oak
and will run through the timbered land
of the company. A charter for thla
railroad was granted several months
ago under the name of the Georgia and
Florida Pine Balt Railroad Company,
