ing of Mr». Mary Baker Eddy's affairs,
the Rdv. c. Tomllnaon. one of the de
fendant* named In the suit filed by
George \V. Olovcr. .if Dcadtvood. 8.
Mrs. Eddy** non. left Concord. It I* le-
poited. to confer with Glover.
As noon oh It won kiv>wn that suit
•ad been filed, Mr. Tomlinson return -
aii home. It is deciured he had In hi*
|HiMMe**ion for delivery to Glover a deed
of trust for a certain sum of money,
variously estimated at from tlOo.wQO u»
$150,000, which, ft Is alleged, was to
have been delivered tu Glover on the
following condition*:
That neither he nor hi* household
should make any further demand* upon
Mr*. Eddy; that they should offer no
objection* to the probating of any will
that might be offered after death; that
they should not *eek any legal pro
ceeding to set aside any gift*, deed* or
Vonveyance* that Mr*. Rddy might
make during her lifetime.
John W. Kelly, of Portsmouth, one of
the attorneys Interested In bringing the
proceeding*, filed the bill In equity
with the clerk of the superior court,
and notified Mr. Streeter, counsel for
Mr*. Eddy, of the fact. Mr. Streeter
had a long conference with Mr. Kelly
and Mr. Martin, who I* associated with
Mr. Kelly, during which he made It
known that the deed of trust was to l»e
given to Mr. Glover.
The conference come to an end when
.Mr. Streeter was Informed that the fac.^
that the bill had been filed had been
given to the pre«s. and Mr. Streeter
then recalled Mr. Tomlinson frftm his
mission.

It was declared that the suit Instituted
against the manager* of her property
by her son, George W. Glover, and oth

Whenever 1 am tempted to give
young men advice 1 think of what the
