JOHN S. THOMPSON CALLED TO BEYOND The funeral services of Dr. John ft. Thompson, one of the best known den tists In Atlanta, who died Tuesday morning at hla residence, 198 Crew street, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 8:S0 o’clock at the Cen tral Presbyterian church. The Inter ment waa In Oakland cemetery. Dr. Thompson was born In Kershaw county. 8. C., In 1850. In 1875 he married Miss Janie Perrin, a daughter of Colonel James M. Per rin, of Abbeville, 8. O. l>r. Thompson came to Atlanta about twenty-six years ago, practicing his profession un til a few months ago, when his falling health caused him to close his office. He was active In establishing the dental department of the Southern .Medical College, and for a long I was an able professor. At one tlm< was president of the National Dental Association.
