HAVE HIGH OLD TIME
The fifth annual banquet of the
Birmingham Press Club was held In
that city on last Friday evnlng, and
the pencil pushers of the Magic City
got together and had the time of their
lives..
The menu cards were unique, the
fronts und backs consisting of news
paper "mats," bearing the headings of
Birmingham’s three alert dallies. The
menu was elaborate, and a good-sized
booklet was filled with cartoons of lo
cal and state celebrities.
The only outsider to be so honored
was Hon. John Temple Graves, editor

In other words, the George Muse

their own peculiar way. And they have
such a delightful little way of telling
things. They talk In rhyme, you
know,' and they travel In such funnv
conveyances—rhlnocerousmoblles and
■uch awful things.
They are going to talk often, and as
<hey made such a hit In other times
and places, their hosts In Atlanta think
they might Interest people here, too.
