Chicago, April 12.—Reporteil rains In
Kansa* took the edge oft the wheat

buyers out of their wheat. Final fig
ures allowed prices ns 3-8@7-8c lower.
Foreign news was mainly bullish, over
balancing the enormous world's ahtp-
monta last week. The Roumanian, Ger-
man and southern Russian wheat crops
ore reported as doing poorly.
Northwestern wheat receipts were 7S3
cars, against 873 a week ego and 437 a
year ago.
Primary receipts were almost double
those of Inst year.
A special from Duluth told of the
opening of navigation and of the boats
leaving for the South. Upward of 4.-
000,000 bushels are expected to go out In
the next 34 hours, nearly all of which
have been sold for export.
