lar meeting of the Btchmond county
board of education held Saturday a
resolution was offered and adopted
unanimously favoring compulsory edu
cation for Richmond county. This ac
tion by the board follows the recent
action of th« grand jury which recom
mended that a bill be passed In the
next legislature necurlng compulsory
education.
