Indianapolis, Ind., May 31.—President Roosevelt appeared on the lawn of the Fairbanks home yesterday afternoon and was photographed with Vice Pres- Ident Fairbanks, Senator Hemenway, Governor Hanlon and Secretary Loeb. Several children from the neighbor hood were cordially greeted by the president. Later In the afternoon the president, vice president and Secretary Loeb were driven to Crown HIU ceme tery, where President Roosevelt depos ited a galaxla wreath on the grave of ex-PresIdent Benjamin Harrison. The wreath was brought from Wash. Ington for the purpose. Tech Men Wanted. , Applications are coming constantly to President Matheson, Bf the Georgia School of Technology, for graduates of that Institution. Recently the Westing- house electrical people have asked for eight graduates of the school. These young men are taken into the great establishment and after receiving the proper training are sent out to the va rious offices of the Arm to take charge of them.
