vision of the city court came to a close
Saturday when Judge Alto V. Lee sen
tenced tho prisoner* for terms ranging
from twenty to two years. Fedor Burk,
a negro, who killed a woman nt tho

sentenced to twenty years in the peni

Savannah, Go., June 4.—It Is likely
that the rasea of Greene and Gaynor
will be carried through all the courts,
though the attorneys will not at pres
ent discuss the decision of the court of
appeals handed down In New Orleans
yesterday.
The case has been a long-standing
one, and is likely to remain in the
courts yet for some time.
There was more than two year*' de
lay In preliminary examination In New
York, following the Brut Indictment
found In Savannah. Finally the de
fendants were committed for trial In
Savannah In February, of 1901.

HOSPITAL NURSE
WEDS PHYSICIAN
Miss Lily Douglass, one of the most
popular nurses at the Grady hospital,
surprised her friends Saturday night by
announcing her marriage to Dr. Wes
ley G. McAnally, of Richmond. Va.
The marriage took place Friday
night, but was kept quiet until Satur
day night. As soon as the announce
ment wa* made. Dr. and Mr*. McAnally
drove away from the hospital In a cab
and left the city for High Point, N. C-.
where they will spend their honeymoon,
after, which they will go to Richmond.
The young couple met while Dr. Mc
Anally wa* attending the Southern
Dental College, directly across the
street from the hospital. Miss Doug
