WHOLE COUNCIL WILLINVESTIGATE Stocks Coal Case To Be Con sidered Thursday Afternoon. The investigation of Thomas F. Stocks, of th. water board, will be held by council aa a committee of th. whole Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock. A motion to this effect was Intro duced by Councilman Hancock at the council meeting Monday afternoon. Councilman Terrell had moved that a committee of five make the Investiga tion, but he withdrew the motion. A petition was rtad to council from the North Georgia Electric Company, In which the company asked that It be given twelve months more time to complete Its plant—from June 28, 1807, to June 26, 1808. It was referred to the electric light committee. Councilman Terrell Introduced a olutlon, providing for the placing of tha present liquor llcenaes under a charter amendment and It was referred to a contmtttee of five, appointed by the mayor pro tem.
