Pitt’s Carminative
Tho strongest endorsement a baby
medicine can have is the supreme con
fidence of the mothers who have used
it. Pitt’s Carminative has this en
dorsement, and has had it since its in
troduction years ago. It is one rem
edy j which corrects all disorders of
th© baby’s stomach, especially those
arising from teething, the most criti
cal stage in a
baby’a life. Guar-
HARBOR.
And will you rest at last, storm-beaten
spirit.
In this poor heart, who would your
haven be?
Will you sink down at last, content to
Inherit
The common treasures of tran
quillity?
Will you forget your high and fierce
endeavor.
The hnunted Island and the hidden
seas.
Defeats, escapes, adventures, that for
ever
Left you more sad, and never more
at eaae?
that
When the west wind of summer even
ings blowing
Brings to your ears the sound of
sails that All,
And moving ships eclipse your star
light, going
To lands unseen and fates
beckon still.
When you shall see beneath tha moon
new risen,
The hissing wake of other vessels’
foam,
Will not this land-locked harbor seem
a prison ,
Where catma and showers mock the
name of home?
Ah, when your longing for the open
ocean
Captures your heart and blda you
set your skit.
Feeble will be the bonds of my devo
tion;
Little will love—your own or mine-
avail;
Happy to' you will seem some ship
wrecked stranger—
Keener than lovo the seat of being
free.
Sweeter than peace, the summoning
Some day at sunrise you will put to
sea.

Baby’s health and comfort come flrsL
There Is as much depending on the
bath and care of the tender little body
as on the food.
The best soap to use to Insure clean
liness without Injury has ever been a
question. Strong alkali soap causes ir
ritation and discomfort. A soap with
poisonous fat may cause disease and
even death.
Krom soap has been made since 1878,
and Is the only soap used for scalp and
hair In many homes. Careful mothers
use nothing else on the tender bodies of
their babies. Its soothing effect proves
its purity and freedom from poisonous
fats.
Full directions for care of the skin,
scalp and hair are given with every

MISS HAMILTON HONORED.
The Atlanta friends of Miss Nannie
B. Hamilton, of Birmingham, and nf her
slater, Mrs. H. M. Lokey, of this city,
will be Interested In the following from
The Birmingham Age-Herald, which
•ays In part:
"In electing Mias Nannie Boyce Ham
ilton superintendent of the Hillman
hospital, the board of revenue has
placed at the head of this Institution a
most efficient young woman. When the
Hillman hospital was first opened Miss
Hamilton was elected supelntendent
and held the position for two years. Her
resignation was regretted by the mem
bers of the board under whose super
vision the hospital was at that time be
ing conducted. In coming hack to the
hospital Miss Hamilton assumes a posi
tion that has always required executive
ability, and that Is naturally one ob
gravest responsibility. The young wom
en who hare been superintendents of
the hospital were selected after assu
rance that they would meet the re
quirements.
Under the new regime Miss Hamil
ton resumes a position for which she Is
eminently fitted. Her hospital training
has been the best that could bo ob
tained. For several years she was in
the leading hospitals In the East, grad
uating with distinction from a training
school where the discipline was ex-
•cedlngly strict.
