June IS.—While alone, plowing cotton yesterday afternoon near his home, Robert F. Adame, a prominent farmer was killed. Five shots were fired at him; only ono took effect, striking him In the bock and emerg ing from the chest. After being shot he started home, but fell within a hundred yards of his house and ex pired. Just before he died, Adams Bald: “Albert Jones shot me.” Later Albert and Harris Jones stated to the posse which arrested them that Porter, their brother, did the killing and after he was arrested Porter Jones made a similar confession.
