Friday afternoon at her home at De-
catur Mrs. Thomas Fulton entertained
the North Side Club. A crowd of
pretty women. In their airiest summer
frock*,, gathered on the spacious and
beautifully shaded lawn, with' a back
ground of many colored flowers, mak
ing a very attractive picture. Many
tables, holding bowls of flowers, rugs

One of the most brilliant weddings
that ever occurred In Valdosta was
that of Mr. John Robert Dasher nnd
Miss Mamie Coffee, at the First Chris
tian church at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday
evening. The decorations at the church,
as well as the arrangement of the elec
tric lights, were absolutely unique and
of the most artistic order. The bride
entered the church on the arm of her
uncle. Senator William S. West, pre
ceded by the bridesmaids and grooms-

by the bride, where the ceremony was
performed by Rev. R. W. Wallace, pas
tor of the church.
After the ceremony a reception was
tendered the wedding party at the
home of Senator and Mrs. West, and
the handsome residence and grounds
were especially attractive on this oc
casion. Myriads of artistically arranged
lights Illumined the spacious lawns,
as well as the home, one of the hand
somest In the state, presenting a scene
of rare beauty. The decorations were
of a most elaborate cbaracter, the color
scheme of pink being carried out In
each room.
Mr. and Mrs. Dasher left on a late
train for the North, where they will
spend several weeks, afterwards re
turning to Point. Washington. Flo.,
which will be their future home.

A delightful outing of the week at

Stark's pond, eight miles west of that
city, given Thursday by Mr. and Mrs.

entire day boating, flailing and playing
