TO MARK ANNIVERSARY
At the Old Woman's Home, 19 East
Mitchell streeL Wednesday'afternoon,
will be celebrated tH6 Second anniver
sary of the home, and the public is ex

and 7 o'clock.
The ladles of the King’s Daughters, |
who have built up the home by hard i
work and tireless efforts,' are anxious I
to show what has been accomplished, 1
and to give the public an Idea of what
Is needed. They expect to make June
28 a regularly observed anniversary and
will ask their friends to set aside, one-
tenth of their earnings on that day In
the year as a gift to the endowment
fund for the home.
The grand Jury has recommended
that the county give 88,000 toward the
home, contingent upon the city's giv
ing a like amount, and It la believed
that the city council will recommend
the appropriation.
