case of the North Georgia Electric
Company on Wednesday next before
Judge Newman, and It Is probable tbat
at thin time some dlaposltlon will be
made of the cane. It was ordered con
tinued by Judge Newman until that
date, and the complainants will be
given a chance to offer more reasons
why the receiver named by the refXe
shall continue. The cane la being
strenuously fought by tha attorney*
for the electric company, and every ef
fort will be made to have the order of
the referee namnlg the receiver set
aside by Judge Newman.
Hooked In Mouth by Cow.

Amerlcus,’ Ga., Sept. I!.—A young
son of Walter Chappell, near Amerlcus,
was hooked In the mouth by a cow
yesterday and brought to the hospital
hero for surgical attention.
