A great Chautauqua nml musical festival
la being planned for Atlanta In April. Dr.
II. M. Wharton has been In Atlanta for
the past two days making arrangements for
the event, which' will be one of the finest
entertainments of the kind ever held In the
South.
The entertainment Is to be known as the
Greater Atlanta Chautauqua and will be
held In the Grand opera house, lasting for
about one week. It will be under the nu-
apices of the Atlanta Lecture Association,
of which 8. Hassell Bridges Is president.
The best talent from all parts of the coun
try will be secured for the program.

TICKET EXTENSION
Washington, Nov. 81.—By a ruling
Issued by the Interstate commerce com
mission carriers may extend limited
passenger tickets In case of. the Illness
of the holder of such tickets.
The commission says:
“This rule must be applied strictly
