with a pretty bridge party on Tuesday
afternoon at her home on Fourteenth
street In honor of Miss Fanny Pickett,
of Montgomery, Ala., the gue»t of Mrs.

The house was decorated with yel
low chrysanthemums In artistic ar
rangement. Delicious refreshments
were served after the game. The first
prize, a hand-painted plate, was won
by Miss Carrie Hutchins, and the con
solation. a bridge set, went to Miss
Nellie Boyd. The guest of honor was*
presented with a pretty hand-made
lace handkerchief.
Miss Pickett wore a pale yellow ra
dium gown, trimmed In lace. Mrs.
Seydell was gowned In blue chiffon
cloth.
