Kastman, (Ja., Nov. 27.—Morris
Kausmar. a metal worker on Dodge
county’s new court house, fell from one
of the high gables lj»i« yesterday aft
ernoon and was Instantly killed. Kaus
mar was employed hv the Ludowlci
(’eladon Company, of Savannah. Ga.,
and had been In Eastman about two
weeks working for this company on
the new court house. His body was
taken to the undertaker’s and will be
shipped to Savannah today.

claimed he carried life Insurance to the
amount of $20,000.

FOR CUTTING TREES
Alleging that the Atlanta Telephone
and Telegraph Company took advan
tage of hit absence from home, entered
his yard at 114 South McDaniel street
and cut limbs from his shade trees for
the purpose of extending Its wires, J.
M. Vickery Wednesday filed suit
against the company for $500 damages.
Mr. Vickery charges that the com
pany had no authority to enter his pri
nts grounds, und n.s un aggravating
feature of the alleged Intrusion cites
ths fact thnt the limb* were cut from
oak tree* which served ns a shade for
ths windows of his dining room.
The suit was filed for the plaintiff by
Attorneys Etheridge & Etheridge.

After eluding the vigilance of offl-
rs of the law for nearly twelve years,
Hurry Morton, of Northampton, county,
North Carolina, who Is wanted there on
barge of murder, haa been arrested
near Tampa, and lx now on his way to
the xccne of the alleged crime In charge
of Deputy Sheriff Hannan, of North
ampton county.
The deputy sheriff and bis prisoner
arrived In Atlanta Tuesday afternoon
and after sliding some time In Atlan
ta took k night train for t'arrarturas.
