Macon, Go., Dec. 10/—The flrst meet ing of the stockholders of the new Citizens' National Bank will be held in the parlors of the Hotel Lanier, De cember 18. The stockholders of the bank at this meeting will choose the directors who will in turn elect the officers. 1 The new bank will open on January 15 In Its own building at the corner of Cotton avenue and Cherry stroet with a capital of $250,000, and when the bank opens It will start with $250,000 of Its own national bank notes. Macon, Ga., Dec. 10.—Work on the second steamer of the Macon-Bruns- wlck steamship line was commenced yesterday, when carpenters were *»et to work building her keel. The new boat will be larger than the Chappell, and will be built with galvanized bolts and nails. This will be done because half of her trip will be through salt water.
