to be on the lookout for the negro.
From what can be gathered from the
disconnected accounts that have come
here, the young boy, together with his
brother, a few years his senior, were
playing alone In the house when the
negro entered an adjoining room. They
went to Investigate, and the Intruder
fired on them, Inflicting a mortal
wound. As soon as the murder became

the country was scoured, but the negro
was ,not apprehended.
