late W. B. Hill.

way at No. 14 1-2 Forsyth street Mon'
day aftarnoon at 4 o'clock caught hla
heel and fell from the last break In the
stairway, causing what may be n fatal
fracture of the skull. The Grady hoapt
tal ambulance was summoned Intrnt
dlately and DeLay was tSkan to the
hospital In an unconscious condition.
DeLay la a man about SI years of
age. He went to the second floor of the
building In search of D. C. Allen, a
contractor whose offices are nevt door.
He slopped and looksd In at the rdom
of Ihe Typographical Union No. 4S but
did not speak. President W. P. Hard
ing was In the room. The man then
started down the stairs evidently find
ing that he was mistaken In the loca
tion. When twelve steps from the street
he caught his heel and fell to the board
paving below.

After the gymnasium drill, ths Chi
Phi fraternity at Emory entertained
their alumni at an elaborate smoker.
The rooms were beautifully decorated
with scarlet and blue, the colors of
ths fraternity, and apivopriate refresh
ments were served. Judge Capers

as toastmaster, and among ths guests
