Chicago, June 16.—Higher prices ruled lu
all the grain markets ou ’change, net gains

products.
Many shorts were run to cover In corn
and oata and the day at well as the week
ended In favor of the bulla while the
world’s shipments of wheat for the week
are estimated at only 9,230,000 huahehi and
a decrease In the amount of breadstuff! on

were looking for a sharp rally. While It
waa a regular holding affair, there was
enough weakness In somo specialties to
have dragged the market lower evei
had not had a downward tendency. The
bank statement fell flat. The gain In cash

pected. The liquidation of the past few
days was not reflected In the loan account,
which Increased nearly $1,000,000.

For the 15 daya of June the totals show
a decrease under last year of 104,000, no
