leans Is 43,331 bales, against 67,057 at
this time last year. ,
The nmount of cotton on shipboard
Is 26,937 bales, against 36,669 last year.

dry, but cloudy.
Liverpool 1 to 3 lower than expected.

ever, that there should have been any
decline Is surprising, considering the
extremely bullish visible supply state
ment.
Houston, Texas, wires that rain Is
needed In south Texes. No damage
has resulted as yet from either weevil
or drought, but the crop cannot stand
much more dry heat.
