HO OFFICIAL MAPS
OF NEW COUNTIES
No official maps of the hew counties

In existence.
Captain,Johnson, In the office of the
secretary of state, has made perfectly
accurate mope of the eight counties,
but the seal of approval hat never been
net on them by the general assembly.
If any matter of court record af
fecting the boundaries at any of these
eight new counties should come up In
litigation no official county map could
be produced because none actually ex
ists.
This la an oversight that has some
how gone by without notice ao far. but
since attention luu been called to the
matter It Is probable that the ofTtclal
seal will be placed on the maps made
by Captain Johnson.
