New York, July 14.—Lee Ste vens, Count Levee and James H. Ilnre today will make an ascen sion in the largest balloon in the world from Staten Island. The balloon requires 70,000 cubic feet of gas to nil it. The aeronauts plan to sail over Staten Island New York and Manhattan and land in the middle of the city. Miss Thomas brought an action for 120,000 against Thaw for the alleged horsewhipping, but although the suit had been on record for four years It had been kept so far down on the cat endnr that It never had been brought to trial.
