Our market epened 6 to 7 polnte down and continued under preeaure up to noon. There seemed to be quite a large lot of cotton for sale, with but few takers. While there was some activity from the bears, the disposition was not to be aggressive,- the bulk of the trade seeming content to hold oft and await developments. Crop reporti continue mixed, but sentiment on the floor up pears to be against the market.
