Our market opened 9 to 7 point, down and continued under pressure up to noon. There seemed to be quite a large lot of cotton for sale, with but few takers. While there was some activity from the bears, the disposition won not to be aggressive, th. bulk of the trade seeming content to hold off and await developments. Crop reports continue mixed, but sentiment on the floor ap, pears to be against the market, It being the general belief that th. crop I. pro gressing nicely In most localities.
