Chief Justice Fish has signed the
writ of error In the Central of Georgia
and Georgia railroads which carries
the rases to the United States supreme
court.

the two roads are combatting payment
of bnck taxes on 15,000 shares nf stock
In the Western of Alabama railroad.
The fight now Is on the contention
of the railroads thav-they have not
