MRS. HEMPHILL HONOREE AT PRETTY PARTIES. Mrs. Frank Cunningham gave a beau tiful party Thursday afternoon, at w hlch Mrs. Robert Hemphill, of Atlan- ta. was the honoree. The lovely residence on Coleman's Hill was decorated lavishly for th^ rarty. Tty reception hall was a bower ,.( i,i.u k-eyed susans, palms and feme. The two parlors open to guests were decorated with large vases of roses, In one room the roses being pink and In the other white and red. Delicious refreshments were served after the game of bridge. Wlnklnson, a prominent Baptist di vine, escaped from McNaughton’s prt- prlvate sanitarium, last night, and, Stealing Dr. McNaughton’s pistol, walked to Wcstvlew cemetery, two mllen from here, and while a sanity commission waif considering the ques tion of her mental capacity, fired a bullet through her heart. Pressed next to her heart, beneath her clothing, was the photograph of a "young man, through which the bullet whs fired.
