Lincoln, of 49 Park avenue, for the past four years connected with the firm of John Sllvey A Co., escaped Wednesday afternoon about 4 o’clock from the Presbyterian hospital while In a delirium, and, despite an energetic search by friends and the police, no trace of him has been found. Lincoln fled from the hospital In hla ehlrt sleeves at a favorably opportuni ty, when no one was watching him. A description of the mlaalng patient was furnished the police and the members of the force were directed to keep a lookout for him. Lincoln waa taken 111 recently and for the past three weeks has been an Inmate of the Presbyterian hospital. Wednesday he grew worse and his mind became affected. . Shortly after 4 o'clock his nurse dis covered hla room empty and a search was made for him. Every-conceivable place In the hospital, where a man might hide, was searched, but the pa tient could not be found. The escape was then reported to the police and their aid enlisted In the search.
