SOCIETY MI8S PECK'S MARRIAGE TO MR. 8H0UP To-sdoy evening at 6: JO o'clock, Mlaa Pearl Beetrloe Peck will be married to Mr. Richard Conwell Shoup, of Wil mington, Delaware, at the home of her parent*, Mr. and Mr*. Frank Hoyt Peck, 215 Weet Peachtree atreet. The ceremony will be performed by Rev. Frank E. Jenkins, and Profes sor J. Fowler Richardson will play the wedding music. The handeome home of Mr. and Mrs. Peck wilt be profusely decorated with smllax, palms, ferns and pink and white roses. The color motif of green, pink and white will be carried out artistically In the menu and In the decorations of the dining room, where an elaborate bulfet sup per will be served during the evening. The table will have for Its centerpiece a mass of pink and white roses which, with stiver candelabra, pfnk shaded; pink and white bon bon*. cut glass and pretty lace mats, will make an at tractive and beautiful picture. Mlea Peck will be given In marrlai by her father,, and the ceremony wl be performed in the drawing room, tx fore an Improvised altar of ferns and summer roses. Miss Josephine Davla, cousin of the bride, will be maid of honor, and Mr. George Bocklns, Jr., of Wilmington, Del., will be best man. Misses Elolse Peck. Sophie McLeary, Isollne Camp bell and Margaret Northen will be the pretty lltle flower girls, wearing dainty white mull frocks, trimmed with lace and embroidery, and pink sashes, lace ribbons, slippers and hose. .Misers Vlrglnla Bowman and Lillian Tow will serve punch. In becoming toilettes of white mull, white pink sashes and other accessories. Miss Peck's wedding gown will be especially handsome. It Is of whit# silk French mousseltne, fashioned with many hand tucks, both on the skirt end corsage. A wide flounce elaborates the skirt, above which are small tuck*. The corsago Is trim med with beautiful rare old point lace, which has a sentimental value. In that It was worn by the bride's grnfldmother, Mrs. J. C. Peck, and her two aunts, Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Wll- llnms, on their wedding gowns. The bride's bouquet will be of white roses, and she will wear a tulle veil caught with white rosebuds. Sanders, of Greens boro, Ga., Is visiting hla son, Sanders, a well-known real estate man of the city. Captain Sanders Is one of the oldest graduates of Mercer. Is of the class of 1545. Of the fourteen In the freshman class of 1845, four are today living. Besides himself are Judge Burney, of Morgan county Judge W. B. Bennett, of Quitman, and Dr. R. J. Massey, of this city. Captain Sanders, for a man of . years. Is quite hale and loves to dwell r n the reminiscences of, the late war. was a trusted captain of Forrest's command and followed his leader In many a hard-fought battle. DINNER TO BRIDAL PARTY. A beautiful occasion was the dinner t which Mra. F. M. Williams enter tained Monday evening at her home on Ivy street In honor of the Peck-Bhoup bridal party. Mra. Williams' guests Included only the bridal party and the brothers of Miss Peck. Mrs. Williams received her guests In a charming gown of white mull trim med with lace. Miss Peck wore pink silk mull, elab- orately fashioned with lace Inserting and medallions, and Mis# Josephine Davis was gowned In white lace. Scott entertained at a beautiful lawn party In honor of Miss Pearl Peck and her attendants. The lawn was brilliantly lighted with Japanese lanterns, and Mrs. Scott’s at tractive home was decorated with quantities of cut flowers. About twenty guests were present.
