“Felix,” “Drescoll” and the great “Paquin”
—names that set every woman’s heart in a flut
ter and whose productions bring forth exclama
tions of admiration the world over. They are
here—direct from the Place de l’Opera arnd those
wonderful shops on the Rue de la Paix, where
the whole fashion world pays homage.
Each season Paris brings out new things.
But of course all that Paris may produce
isn’t to be taken absolutely and without question.
So we’ve gone to the certain ones. The
ones who create rather than follow.
And in all Europe there are no names
greater than the three we set down here.
The costume we picture, drawn from one of the new arri
vals, is from Felix direct. It is of the finest cloth that can be
woven, trimmed with baby lamb and silk braid outlining- the
entire coat and forming the Gibson effect from bust line ov?r
shoul.der and down the back,
Black with the exception of a touch of blue in the vest atid
a narrow band about the cuff.
The Price Is $ 125.00
In each suit there are certain new , and in some respects, striking lines and arrangements of material. Princess effects and the skirt tight about the
hips are to reign as heretofore,' with short or three-quarter sleeves almost universally in favor. Colors—new, every one of them. Frog green,
chamois, bois, Tuscan, London smoke and dregs Of wine are all in high favor. Of course, blues; they seem always good. But why try to describe
Paris gowns, the indescribable shades and shaping, when your eyes are eager to see and your feet fairly dancing.
