Tuesday the price reached 61c, nround which figure It hung until the close on Thursday, which wns V4o higher. At the close of the market today prices were firm nt 61V4c. but In the late trading hour a weakness was evident. Sales were made both nt file nnd 6J4c. while some fac tors declined the lower price and some re ceived no bids. Prices will hnrdly go be low file for the present week, and may go on considerably higher. Values are lower than the same time Inst year by over 2 cents. The rosltf market closed the week with changes In some grades from the opening, the pales lielng generally higher nnd the mediums slightly lower. The offerings dur ing the week were divided among a number of buyers.
