A welcome break In the social mo notony was the amateur presentation Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Paul Verdery, on the Hill, of the clever little parlor skit for the benefit of the Pariah House Association, and the affair was a de cided success, both from a social and financial standpoint. Mrs. William Jennings Bryan was entertained at dinner at the Albion hotel Wednesday evening, previous to the speaking of her distinguished hus band nt the Grand opera house.
