man R. H. Clarke, of Alabama, who left

B. Simpson died nt his home In Pros
perity, this county, on Thursday morn
ing. after a lingering Illness. He was
79 years of age. Dr. Simpson was a
practicing physician and was a well-

shooting of a student nt tho university
at Chapel Hill last night. Bernard
O’Neill, of Wilmington, a sophomore,

freshman from ML .olive. O'Neill is in
