The chief event will be a brilliant ball at the Hermitage Club next Friday evening. The woman's department at the fair la housed In the former Cumberland Park Club house, and prominent women will serve as hostesses each day. A number of luncheons and dinners will be given at the tea room at the building. The department will be opened with appro priate exercises next Monday after noon. over which Mrs. Katherine P. Wright, director, will preside. For each day special features are arranged. Thursday Knoxville ladles will give the program and Friday Is set apart for Memphis.
