orders coming out.
The decline continued throughout tho
session and predictions are numerous
that the bottom has not yet been
touched: that Is, for cotton for future
delivery for speculative purpoees.
The movement of actual cotton has
begun In earnest, which, unless check
ed. will force spot prices lower, though
at present they follow the slump In fu
tures somewhat reluctantly.
Late Liverpool cables report that
there has been violent fluctuations
there, but recovered considerably at
the close with a better feeling In evi
dence.

Sunday, which stopped cotton picking for
several days, but did no material damage.
Farmers have rushed their picking for all

up, while over half of the crop remains iu
the fields. The gins nre crowded to tlielr

of their catching up.”
