Chamberlin-Jokhson-DuBose Company. * Chippendale, Sheriton, Heplewhite A little furniture history will not be out of place with these furniture pictures—the repro duction of a Heplewhite diningroom suit in beautifully marked San Domingo mahogany. But to go back a century. There was Chippendale, who designed those rare things in straight, comfortable lines, not unlike the suits shown here. Plain or with the hairlines of inlaid white holly. Then came the Sheritons, who used the same design, but added the little inlaid fan-shape ornaments in the corner. Then Heplewhite, who added the festoons and drapery effects in the center of the panels. This suit we picture here is an exact and beautiful reproduction of a Heplewhite. If we could “age it” in some magic way the' price would be in the thousands; but we cannot carry , sentiment into the price. The suit, as pictured here, consisting of sideboard, table, china closet, six side chairs and two'arm-chairs, done in leather, all San Domingo mahogany with white holly inlay and chairs done in leather
