-Miss Mary Copelan mtertained the

from ',.1:29 until 6 o’clock. The scoreo
cards were hand-painted Christy heads,
the work of the talented hostess. The
first prize, h book, was won by Miss
Nellie Hall and the consolation was
given to Miss Henrietta Smith. After
the gamn a delightful salad course was
served. Among thoso present were Mrs.
J. T. Robins. Mrs. R. R. Overton. Misses
Kate and Jennie Evans, Nellie Hall,

cut glass, silverware of all kinds and
dainty presents of Japanese ware,
At the hour of 12 the guests began
to leave, and all were as one In their
praises to Mr. and Mrs. Bearcy for the
delightful evening, and In their con
gratulations to the young couple for a
happy and prosperous Journey through
life.
