Alias Hattie Fannie Gray gave a beautiful luncheon Wednesday In honor, ; of Miss Irene Koneftck. of Kansas City, the guest of Miss Adora Anderson. /pile table was artistically decorated with pink roses and ferns. The lights had pink shades and the bonbons In pink. Miss Gray wore a toilet of lavender broadcloth fashioned with Cluny lace. Invited to meet the guest of honor were Miss I^eono La-’son. Miss Marga ret Ladson. Miss Ida Hightower, Miss Alberta Rnrkln, Miss Louise Hawkins, Miss McGowan Phelan, Miss Marion Feel, Mrs. Thnmrs Brumby and Mrs. Morris Brandon. Alias Keneflrk was much admired In a white cloth gown made prlncesse and trimmed with baby Irish lace. Her hnt of black velvet*was trimmed with plumes. Miss Anderson wore a gown of blue cloth elaborately trimmed with lace and chiffon. A hat of blue trimmed with roses was worn with this gown. Miss Louise Hawkins worn a green velvet gown and a bat of velvet trim med with cream plumes. / Miss Margnret Ladson's toilet was of light blue doth embroidered In silver. Her hat of black was trimmed with blue plumes. Allss Ida Hightower was becomingly gowned in blue silk and Irish lace. A black hat with white plumes wns worn with this gown. Miss Kene- (lck. of Kansas City, who has been so much feted during her brief visit to Atlantu. The decorations were largely of red. A very dainty afternoon frock Is of black eotlenne. It Is made In empire style, the waist being of hcavv cream-colored Jaco. Over this Is n little coat of the collenne, trimmed with wide silk braid and finished with tassels. Another* pretty costume Is of pale gray ladles’.cloth. Tho skirt Is trimmed with a broad band of velvet of a deeper shade of gray. The girdle Is of velvet and tho waist shows a deep yoke of cream-colored guipure luce. let of blue embroidered chiffon over flowered while silk, made prlncesse nnd trimmed with roses nnd sliver lace. Her bouquet was of pink roses tied with tulle. \ Allss Anderson’s becoming gown was of lllnc-tinted chiffon satin, prlnccsso white nnd blue bunting, while flags and trimmed with Iliac passementerie and armorial devices were effectively combined with sprays of bamboo and potted foliage plants. The electric lights were softened with pink shades. Punch was served, the bowl being decorated with bunting In red, while and blue. An orchestra rendered an attractive program, and during the evening a buf fet aupper was served.
