Mrs. Frank Stewart's tea was a pret ty event of Saturday afternoon. The | decorations were palmB, ferns and red roses. In the dining room the table covered with Venetian lace mats I and the centerpiece was a vase of red roses. Misses Holland served tea and Miss Martha Boynton served punch. The opening session of the first na- I tlnnnl convention of the Alpha Delta Sorority was held Friday afternoon at I j!: 30 o'clock at the residence of Mrs. Willingham, at Macon, where all | the business sessions of the convention will be held. At the opening session the program consisted of addresses of welcome and responses and the singing of the special songs prepared for the convention.
