be given Its greatest teat when Mrs,
Anna M. Bradley Is called to the har of
Justice to answer for killing former
Senator Drown.
No definite plans have been made,
however, and her attorneys, Oeorfee
Hoover and Robert Wells, will light the
government’s efforts to have her'llfo
forfeited for the killing of the states
man. and. from statements made to
them by her they havo no other course
to pursue.

Spartanburg. S. c\, Dec. 17.—Glenn
Towrey and BatnbrUIge Foster, two
young boys In knickerbockers, ran
away from their homes In Greenville
last week and came to Spartanburg.
The boys had started out to see the
world but before they got far they
landed Into trouble. .
Towrey and Foster were both armed
with a pistol and white displaying their
weapons to the ct»ok nt the Southern
Cafe, where they stopped. Foster s pis.
tot went off accidentally, the bull en
tering the thigh of the cook. Foster
became frightened und ran away. Glenn
Towrey was arrested by the police on
the charge of carrying concealed
weapons. On account of his tender
age. It Is not likely that be will be
prosecuted.

Jim Lowe Poater, a bailiff of Line
Creek district, ahot and Instantly killed
Qeorge Lee, a negro 22 years of age.
The trouble originated at Coppedgt'n
store. Poater. It la stated, made aome
playful paaa at the negro, which he-did
not like, and remarked to Foster that
he "could not play with him." The ne-
and called Foster Into the road, where
he made several attempts to cut him.
Foster drew hla gun and Arad, killing
the negro Instantly.
