With another ginners* report immediately Impending it wan but natural thnt n further elimination of all but the more stable portion of the market’s Interest should occur. The market, despite the covering of a few shorts, was bare of sufficient support to uphold prices und the fact that cotton continues to move freely and curtailment is not even In dicated judging by estimates for to morrow, inspired renewed although conservatively restricted action among scalpers. The govern mtNra acknowl edged Inability to collect trustworthy data from ginners in the preparation of its reports naturally diminishes to u large degree the full extent of its In- lluenee, and hence It ls that the mar ket's course may be only temporarily affected by today's figures, while for the future the relation of demand to supply will more clearly govern and direct the movement of prices.
