Construction Cars Burn.

Madison, Ga., Deo. 28.—Tuesday
night the city v~a aroused by the Are
alarm at a very, late {lour. Only a few
responded on account of the severe
weather, and found the fire to be In one
of a string of construction cars stand
ing near the Central railroad depot.
For some time it seemed that a large
number of cotton bales on a near-by
platform would also be consumed, but
by hard work some of the cars were
moved back, saving the rest of the de
pot property.
Three cars were consumed.
