Hon. Herman Myers, president of the company, came tip from .Savannah to attend the meeting. FUNERAL OF MRS. FLYNT WAS CONDUCTED THURSDAY. Special to Tin* Georgian. Cullnden, Ga., Deo. 29.—Mr*. O. G. Flynt, who died nt her home at Rent Haven Wednesday, was burled here Thursday afternoon. Funeral services were held at Rest Haven by Rev. Mr. Pace, of Darnesville. Mrs. Flynt was the wife of Colonel G. O. Flynt. who was very prominent In Monroe’s affairs, even until his death, which occurred a few years ago. She was also the mother of Dr. Harry Flynt, of Atlanta, and Postmas ter J. W. Flynt, of this place. Rev. B. F. Gullle, who has accepted 'the pastorate of Westminster Presby terian church, will arrive In Atlanta Saturday afternoon from Olney, 111., his late field of labor, and will preach to his new congregation Sunday morning. He will also conduct the evening serv ice* nt the usual hour. A committee of officials of Westmin ster congregation will meet the new pastor on his arrival and escort him to the manse. It Is expected that largo congregations will attend both serv ices at Westminster Sunday, as Rev. Mr. Gullle Is an eloquent ns well ns gifted and earnest minister of the gospel. FUNERAL OF H. O. BELL WAS HELP AT MACON. Special to The Cccrgtee. Macon, Ga., Dec. 29.—H. O. Bell, a well-known cltlxen of this city, died yesterday morning at his home, 530 Washington avenue. He was 65 years old, and Is survived by his wife and several children. The funeral services were held this afternoon from the family residence. The deceased was formerly a resident of Cuthbert. Bristol, Tenn., Dec. 29.—Harrison Potter was shot and killed by Edward Mllhorn, a railway brakeman, near Mountain City, during the Christinas festivities. Three shots penetrated Potter’s breast.
