On laat Saturday, Calhoun, Overby, and Westmoreland, met a portion of their felluw-citizens at Black Hall Court ground in this County, and all mado speeches, as wo understand. We have learned from other parties that the lot of land offered by Mr. Reynolds, is one among tbe best in, the County—both ns regards soil and timber—aod that nine hundred dollars is an exceedingly low price for it. Whether he went to Black Hal last Saturday for the porposo of persuading his friends to vote the Democratic ticket, or merely for recreation, we are not informed. But certain it is—he had tho right to go there ; and it was not very liberal or mag nanimous in Mr. B. II.
