At least, that has heretofore boon our impression, os to tho rights of free white men, in such mat ters. On laat Saturday, Calhoun, Overby, and Westmoreland, met a portion of their felluw-citizens at Black Hall Court ground in this County, and all mado speeches, as wo understand. Among the visitors from Atlanta, on tho occasion, was Mr. F,. T, Uunnicutt, who seems to be particularly Mr. E. B. We have learned from other parties that the lot of land offered by Mr. Reynolds, is one among tbe best in, the County—both ns regards soil and timber—aod that nine hundred dollars is an exceedingly low price for it. Wei hoard yestordny on tbo otrecte, that tbe Know Nothing County authorities were on the evo of buying n very poor lot of laud froml Jesse Cook, E rf q., at the snug little price of four thousand dollars!
