He was calm, dig nified and deliberate, and la a clear and for cible manner, delirered the address—an add res marked by ths strong intellect of its author, and replete with the rery soundest wisdom. During its delirery be was warm ly cheered, and when be aliudad to our Fed eral rebmou, a common reiponae rote from the breast of all, and a common sentiment prevailed that it was Southern, Constitu tional and patriotic. He showed that firm ness and decision were characteristics not wanting in tb* Executive of Gsorgis, nod if the day dawued when th* strung arms and brave hearts of Georgians should be called to defend their homes and hearthstones, Gov. Brown would not shrink from the ordeal, but ha tbe first in the field and tht hut to I cava it.
