The Bask Question before the Legisla ture. Our young and amiable, though ines- penned correspondent from Milledsjevil'c, 6. in one of his coramunicstions from th-t ycity, takes deredfy strong vie=s in tarn of the Banks, sod appears to he willing to grant rftem nil the indulgence they crate, which does not comport stall with our feelings, principles, or the position of this paper. We ire not with the Bank party of this State, or with the Bank parry in the Legislature; and we write this, simply to correct any misapprehension as to our position, and to correct an impression which our iliiiedrerill- correspondent in hts aesl for the Banks, may probably haTe made, Upon the Ba.-k question we hire ever fctea with surprised aids, democratic Eveetnire, an Execntire, we are proud to say that can tee and maintain not only the people's constitutional rights in their pres ent struggle between them and the banks, hat their interests, despite the hue and cry of bank presidents, directors, and stock- h alders, of the arerieictu whom they con tra!, or ef the weak whom they frighten.
