Mr. Hinton’s bill to establish a now circuit to
be known as the Columbus Circuit.
Mr. Bruton—Iieeolted, That this bill be refer
red to the Judiciary Committee to report If the
Judiciary Circuits ought to be increased, and to
what number. Lost.
Mr. Wootou moved to amend Mr. Hinton’s
bill by adding : Provided, belore this bill be
comes a law, the people of Muscogee shall, by
popular vote consent to pay Into the State
Treasury an extra tax to pay the salaries of
Judge and Solicitor General. Lost.
