Never be too quick to notice lit
tle things at social gatherings. Any
one that’s ever been far enough to
get outside of their own neighbor
hood. will never do it. No lady
would expect to meet anything
but a gentleman at such places,
and no gentleman should expect
to meet anything but a lady'. Vir

Homer’s Advantages.
Ilorner is one of the nicest anu
most pleasant place in northeast
Georgia for a summer resort to
those wishing to exclude themselv
es from the tares and rusttle of city
life during the heated and sultry
months. The village is situated on
a healthy location, surrounded by
pure water, good churches and
good neighborhood; only a few
miles from the railroad; has a daily
mail; is strictly an agricultural sec
tion; affords nearly all the fruits in
I
this line; is in easy connection with
all outward markets; lias a good
hotel, and nearly all her citizens
are prepaired to take some sum
mer boarders. Come i;i visitors,
you will be welcomed.

Fine Porkers.
There is no excuse for not rais
ing fine porkers in northeast Geor

October to the last of December to
fatten your hogs in. Then you have
from the first of January to the Ist
of March to salt it down, smoko

you run no .risk in losing it. dminu
hot weather. But this is not :i,*
